Neval Ergün, textile designer and illustrator.
She was born in Izmit, 1983. After graduating from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Textile and Fashion Design Department, she started to work as a textile designer in the ready-to-wear sector.
She has always enjoyed observing colors, nature and painting since childhood. Besides textile design, she continues to work as a freelance illustrator. Her illustration work varies on different areas such as children's books, social media content drawings and special projects. She also uses her illustrations by printing on naturally dyed fabrics.
While making her drawings, she is inspired by her environment, emotions, people, nature, city of Istanbul and children. She studies philosophy and organizes workshops with children.
She lives with her husband, son and their cat in Istanbul.
