Kıymet Ergöçen was born in Divrigi in 1981. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. In 2000, she entered Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts with first place. After graduating from the Department of Graphic Design, she focused on the illustration she was passionate about. Up to now, she has made many drawings in different fields and illustrated lots of children's books.
In 2018, she designed the mug and baby food collection consisting of 10 pieces for Karaca Porselen. In 2019, she painted the children's book “Fanfare – A Musical Tale of Istanbul” prepared as part of the 47th Istanbul Music Festival. She took part in many group exhibitions with her illustrations.
She continues to work at full speed as a freelance illustrator.
