Born in 1984 in Istanbul, the author completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir. After receiving her bachelor's degree in American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University, she continued her master's degree at the same department and university. In her thesis, she analyzed the process of becoming an individual in the journey of the female character in Ursula K. Le Guin's Yerdeniz series. Since 2006, she has been working as an English Lecturer at Ankara University. Interested in fantasy and science fiction, she continues to write for readers of all ages.
