She was born in Iskenderun. Her interest and love for books started in primary school. She spent almost her entire childhood reading books at the İskenderun Public Library, which she never forgot, participating in poetry and essay contests and dreaming of becoming a writer. She graduated from Marmara University, Department of Educational Administration and Supervision with a minor in Turkish.
While continuing her education, she worked as a radio broadcaster and vocalized fairy tales.
In 1996, she started her teaching career in various schools in Istanbul, teaching and learning with the children she loved so much.
What is she doing now? "Neither without children nor without books", she continues to write for children, to travel with them in their colorful world, and to share her dreams with more children. She loves Istanbul, children, seagulls, books and of course she loves to dream.
