Rumeysa Abiş was born in Kocaeli in 1994. She graduated from Kocaeli University Landscape Department. Since she was little, her biggest dream was to transfer her dream world to books. Following this dream, she started working on picture books in 2019. This journey brought her together with colorful fairy tales. She likes to use digital and traditional techniques together in her drawings. Nature is her biggest source of inspiration. She continues to work full-time on picture books with her cat in her small studio overlooking the forest.
