Melike Ayvaz was born in 2001 in İzmir. She is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Arts. She practiced archery professionally for eight years; this period gave her discipline and focus. Over time, she made drawing her priority and turned to art education.
 

During her university years, she focused on children’s books and developed her style in this field. She creates colorful, character-driven illustrations. By combining analog and digital techniques, she builds a layered visual language, often influenced by a vintage aesthetic.
 

Characters from diverse cultures, mythological elements, and animal figures are central to her work. She draws inspiration from everyday life and nature. With a disciplined and original approach, she continues to produce work, particularly in the field of children’s books.
