Funda Sarıipek was born in Muğla in 1998. Interested in art from a young age, she nurtured her interest through art atelier classes in high school. While studying English Language Teaching at Gazi University in Ankara, she continued drawing and decided to shape her career by combining her pedagogical knowledge with her love for storytelling. After graduation, she attended courses by artists like Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo, developing her artistic perspective and shaping her style through the inspiration she gained.
In addition to her love for art books, children's books, and animation, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat Bambi and being in nature. Her one-year-old niece reminds her of the pure joy she feels while creating art, inspiring her to produce new works.
She also enjoys capturing the details of daily life through watercolor, acrylics, and sketches.
