She was born in Istanbul in 1983. After graduating from Istanbul High School for Boys, she graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Cinema and Television. She has published more than forty works in the fields of short stories, novels, poetry and cartoons for both children and adults. Her first children's novel Tokyo (2018) won the KYÖV Children's Literature award. She wrote song lyrics for the music group Plüton Sakinleri. She wrote and drew her own comic books and wrote comic book scripts for other illustrators. She participated in group exhibitions with her paintings. She also writes a regular newsletter called I Love Mondays and translates children's books into Turkish.
