I am a children's book illustrator living in a seaside town in Turkey. I have been in touch with books and pictures since my childhood and fortunately not much has changed. I graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture, but I don't do three-dimensional works for now. I have worked with many publishing houses in Turkey and I continue to work. Walking in nature with my dogs and my daughter, watching the green and the landscape, small details from simple and daily life, the sound of silence are the things that feed me. Naturally, I love nature paintings, painting daily routine things and dealing with details. I make my paintings with traditional techniques, I use many materials such as gouache paint, colored and pastel pencils with mixed techniques.
